Join us in nourishing our community through Faith in Action! Together, we can provide essential food assistance to local families experiencing hardship and food insecurity.
Our target for the next 6 months
Families facing food insecurity
Monthly commitment from our church
We're committed to addressing food insecurity in our community by providing nutritious meals to families experiencing hardship. Through careful coordination and compassionate service, we aim to support our most vulnerable neighbors with dignity and respect.
One in eight families in our community face hunger daily. Economic challenges have intensified this crisis, particularly affecting these vulnerable groups:
School-age children are most affected, missing crucial nutrition needed for proper physical and cognitive development.
Fixed incomes leave elderly neighbors choosing between nutritious food and essential medications they need.
Despite employment, many families struggle with rising costs and inadequate wages to cover basic nutritional needs.
Those facing housing challenges often sacrifice meals to maintain shelter, creating a cycle of instability.
Bring donations to the church foyer before or after services (8AM-1PM)
Church office accepts donations Monday-Thursday (9AM-4PM)
First Saturday drive-thru collection in church parking lot (10AM-2PM)
Seasonal food drives during major holidays with extended hours
We welcome non-perishable items like canned proteins, pasta, rice, beans, and cereal. Please ensure donations are unexpired and undamaged. Monetary donations can be made online through our secure website.
We maintain a simple, dignified process to identify needs while respecting the privacy and dignity of each family we serve.
Our dedicated volunteers assemble nutrition-balanced packages, ensuring each family receives a variety of healthy food options.
Weekly pickup times are available at our church and partner locations, offering convenient access throughout the community.
We provide home delivery services for seniors and disabled individuals who cannot visit our distribution sites.
We partner with local shelters and community centers to ensure wide distribution. Our dignity-focused model emphasizes respect, offering a shopping-like experience where possible rather than pre-packed boxes.
There's a place for everyone in our mission! Families, individuals, youth groups, and corporate teams are all welcome. Sign up on our website or contact our volunteer coordinator to find the perfect opportunity for your skills and schedule.
"After my medical bills piled up, I had to choose between medicine and food. This program meant I didn't have to make that choice."
"When I lost my job, feeding my kids became a daily worry. The church food drive helped us through our toughest months."
"Our school partnership ensures students have weekend meals. Attendance and performance have improved significantly."
Beyond statistics, our food drive creates meaningful change in individual lives. We've seen families stabilize, children perform better in school, and community bonds strengthen through this shared mission of compassion.
